The Red cross club of KCAU Town Campus spearheaded by its founding patron Richard Otieno participated in the annual Kenya Red Cross Society (KRCS) Dissemination competition which was held on 22nd October 2022 at the Karen – Langata Field Office located in Dagoretti.
The club was able to clinch the 1st runner-up position out of 10 universities that participated in the competition thereby being crowned a trophy for exemplary performance and also one club member by the name Jeffrey Odumba, a BBIT student who emerged as the best was also awarded a trophy. Other club members received certificates in various categories.
The town campus Director Dr. Ibrahim Tirimba Ondabu congratulated the club for the good work while receiving the trophy and also awarding certificates of participation to members. He urged the club members to be proactive both in academic and student life activities since student engagement is one of the pillars of KCA University.
