On Thursday 28th September 2023, KCA University Town Campus held its annual Kings and Queens event at the Town Campus Hall on Ground Floor, hosted by the KCAU Town Campus Director Dr. Ibrahim. T Ondabu. The Deputy Director of Partnership and Linkages from the Ministry of Education Dr. Paul Njogu graced the occasion as the Chief Guest, Other guests included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Finance Planning and Development Prof. Damiannah M. Kieti, The Director of KCAU Western Campus Dr Bridgette Okonga was also present and the Dean of Students Mr Lamech Ang’ila. Other Guests included the former SAKU Chairman, SAKU Councils from Main and Kitengela Campuses, a delegation of students from Main Kitengela and Town Campuses represented very well.
One of the main objectives of this event was to nurture talent among our students and to give students a platform to showcase their creativity. We strive to create an enabling environment for the arts and culture and to uphold our national heritage in every way.
The winners of this event included: Josphat Munene Wanjohi who clinched the King title, Annet Wangui Kariuki who clinched the Queen title. The First Runner up were Emmanuel Kyalo Maweu (Male category) and Angela Wairuri (Female category). The second runners-up were Malikhu Titus Mulwale (Male category) and Judy Warigia Mwangi (Female category). Congratulations to this team and we wish them well in all their endeavours
